Spain vs Netherlands: Andres Iniesta Scores Winning Goal – Andres Iniesta scored the winning goal for the 2010 FIFA World Cup Finals match on the 116th minute. The winning goal was cheered by the more than 80,000 fans who watch the game at Soccer City, Johannesburg and 750 million worldwide.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup finals game, Spain vs Netherlands had been one of the most physical games in the World Cup 2010. Scores of yellow cards and a red card was given to the Netherlands who played a “rugby” and “street” like football game, a far cry from the Total Football which they invented long time ago.

Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder of Holland failed to lead their team to their first ever victory and break the curse on losing the finals. The 2010 FIFA World Cup finals is their third finals lost after they lost to West Germany in 1974 and to Argentina in 1978.

It could have been their biggest chance but they were no match to the resilience and courage of players like Xavi Hernandez, Adnres Iniesta, David Villa, Iker Casillas, Carlos Puyol and others. This World Cup is certainly for the Spaniards.
